The Raiders are pleased to announce that Tjay Anderson has signed a new deal with the newly rebranded Romford Raiders ahead of the 24/25 season.
Tjay has developed his talent through the Romford Junior system and has become a key player for the Raiders.
Following the signing of player/coach Adam Laishram, it was clear that Tjay would return to the gold and blue army, having built strong chemistry on the top line together.
Tjay had a breakout season at the National level, reaching 52 points in 62 appearances, scoring 29 goals, including a few hat tricks, and assisting 23. He also featured for the Buccaneers last season, where he scored 9 goals in just 4 games.
Tjay is a great addition to the Raiders as he is a young player with huge potential and an abundance of skills, poised to become a standout player in this league. He first broke onto the scene for the Raiders in the 22/23 playoff semifinals at Coventry against the Sheffield Steeldogs, where he scored 2 fantastic goals to help his side reach the final. This performance allowed him to gain the confidence to showcase his talent, which he did throughout this season.
